ICE plans to convert Roxbury warehouses into
massive detention facilities.This threatens civil liberties and due process rights in our community.

What exactly is happening?

  • ICE is exploring a plan to convert a Roxbury warehouse into a makeshift prisons.

  • Detainees would be imprisoned in Roxbury before being funneled into larger facilities and staged for deportation.

  • The inhumanity and cruelty of ICE can seem far away. But it's coming here.

"The Trump administration is seeking contractors to help it overhaul the United States’ immigrant detention system in a plan that includes renovating industrial warehouses to hold more than 80,000 immigrant detainees at a time, according to a draft solicitation..."
